Sire Tintin In America has four lots in the sale.

MANY of the best sires available to the Australian breeding industry are set to feature at the 2021 Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale to be conducted by Graeme Board & Co at the Bathurst Harness Racing Club on Sunday, March 21, starting at 11am.

The list is headed up by Bettor’s Delight, the leading Australian sire for the last nine years, Art Major, the eight-time premier sire of two-year-olds, and American Ideal, the sire of champion pacer Bling It On.

The sale will showcase the first crop of the exciting, young sires in Huntsville (USA 2YO Colt of the Year), the dual Derby and Auckland Cup winner Vincent and the North America Cup and Adios winner Fear The Dragon.

The current leading sire of two-year-olds, Betting Line, is among a group of emerging sires such as Sweet Lou, Warrawee Needy (last season’s leading NSW first season sire), Bling It On, For A Reason and Sunshine Beach.

Other stallions with progeny in the sale include Tintin In America, the sire the world’s fastest mare ever Shartin (1:46.8), Rock N Roll Heaven, Well Said, Sportswriter, Roll With Joe, Shadow Play, Auckland Reactor, Four Starzzz Shark and A Rocknroll Dance, the sire of Australian juvenile mile record holder Bar Room Banta.

The now WA based Shoobee’s Place, a 1:49 son of Artsplace, has the biggest draft at the sale with 14 – 10 colts and four fillies.

The sale will be livestreamed with online bidding available.
