Progeny of classic winners at Tasmanian Harness Yearling Sale

Progeny of a number of classic winning and classic winner-producing mares adorn the catalogue for the 2021 Tasmanian Harness Yearling Sale to be held at Carrick Park on Saturday, February 13.

Among the classic winners and placegetters are Tisu Holly (Granny Smith Stakes), Angel Or Demon (Coastal Pacing Thousand, Matron Stakes and Mother of Pearl), the Belmont winners Iden Princess and Mon Soie, Iden Countess (Killarney Stud Bouquet), Huiffier (2nd Bandbox Stakes) and the Bandbox Stakes and Blue Bonnet placegetter Itz Gemmas Delight.

The dams listed in the catalogue have left the Blue Bonnet and Belmont winner Written In Silk, the Breeders Crown heat winner Tisu Spirit, Lady Elaine (Tas. Sales Classic), the Dandy Patch and Sweepstakes placegetter Iden Mister Ed, the Sales Classic placegetter Iden Noshot and the Evicus heat placegetter Iden Reactor.

The grand-dams of the yearlings have left a swag of top performers such as the dual Inter Dominion champion and Miracle Mile winner Beautide 1:50.2 ($2.1 million), Ashkalini (Evicus and Granny Smith), Chip And Gale 1:52.6 ((Tasmanian Oaks), Bar Ron Boy 1:51.8 (NSW Schweppes Cup), Laterron (Tas. Golden Mile), the SA Southern Cross winners Hez The One and Duomo, the Hobart Pacing Cup winner Purple Haze and Iden Good Time (Tasmanian Sweepstakes and 3YO Filly Championship).

Yearlings are eligible for Tasbred, Vicbred and the Breeders Crown.
