An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic office manager looking to further their involvement in the harness racing industry.

The Role:

The role will involve taking control of the Office Administration function at APG, with a particular focus on:

·       maintaining APG’s accounts (invoicing, receipting, debt collection etc.);

·       maintaining APG’s databases (sales entries database, marketing database, sustaining database etc.);

·       running the on-site Sales Day Office at APG’s yearling sales;

·       managing the post-sales process (accounts, sustaining, transfer forms, etc.)

 The successful applicant will be expected to be flexible and willing to assist in other areas as required.

Key Skills:

·       Experience with Accounting Systems (preferably Ardex)

·       Experience with debt collection

·       Excellent attention to detail

·       Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

·       Ability to take charge and own the role

Familiarity with the people in the harness racing industry, along with a passion for the industry would be advantageous.

All applicants must hold a valid driver’s licence and be willing to travel interstate and work flexible hours, including weekend work.
