QLD - Concession Drivers - Change To Concession Term

Following consultation with BOTRA and industry members Racing Queensland effective immediately have extended the Concession Driver term from 6 years to 7 years from the date of attaining a B-Grade Drivers Licence.

All other terms remain the same as announced from July 1 which are summarized below.

  1. Concession Drivers are eligible to take a claim with no season limit.   
  2. Allowable lifetime wins are capped at 250 for the term.
  3. Allowable wins at a Metropolitan meeting are capped at 50 for the term.
  4. Concession Drivers who have a lifetime record of 100 wins or less have a five (5) National Rating point claim.
  5. Concession Drivers who have a lifetime record of 101 wins up to 250 wins have a three (3) National Rating point claim.
  6. All wins count as a win, regardless whether a claim has been used or not. 
  7. A dead heat does not count as a win.
