Racing Queensland has advised of up-coming maintenance work at Redcliffe Paceway which will alter race distances over the next fortnight.

All races scheduled at Redcliffe over 2040 metres between now and May 14 will be adjusted to 2280 metres including races one, three and five on Wednesday, May 1 and races six, eight and nine on Thursday, May 2.

At present, the 2040 metre start point requires maintenance due to subsidence, and whilst stewards have confirmed that it is not hazardous to racing, the 2280 metre start will be used until the issue is corrected.

Works to correct the issue are scheduled between May 10 and May 14.
