The Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards advise that Bonnie Kash has been scratched at 5:42pm from its engagement in Race 11 at tonight’s Mildura race meeting, under the provisions of Australian Harness Racing Rule 193(5).

The scratching relates to a raceday stable inspection being performed this afternoon and concerns held that Bonnie Kash had either been stomach tubed, or attempted to be stomach tubed.

Stewards further hold concerns that the following runners have been treated in breach of the rules and are also late scratchings by order of the Stewards at 5:42pm:

Race 5 – Countdown

Race 6 – Our Summer Bay

Race 7 – Braeview Bomber

Race 10 - Waterboy

An investigation remains ongoing into this matter and no further comment will be made at this time.
