Leading sires underpin Redcliffe yearling sale

A strong contingent of 33 of the best sires available to the Australian breeding industry are set to feature at the Redcliffe Yearling Sale on Sunday, March 31.

The list includes established sires such as Bettor’s Delight, Somebeachsomewhere, Rock N Roll Heaven, Sportswriter, Roll With Joe, Well Said, Mr Feelgood, Grinfromeartoear, For A Reason, Changeover, Cammibest, Blissfull Hall, Betterthancheddar and the emerging sires Sweet Lou, Hurrikane Kingcole, Auckland Reactor, Heston Blue Chip, Pet Rock, A Rocknroll Dance, Warrawee Needy, Sunshine Beach, He’s Watching, Lanercost and Follow The Stars.

Other sires of note include Lincoln Royal, Artistic Fella, Village Jolt, Allamerican Ingot, Major Bronski, Caesar Augustus and the trotting stallions Skyvalley and Yield Boko.   

Interestingly, nine of the top 10 sires on the 2YO Sires’ list in Australia this season to date will all be represented at the sale.

Yearlings are eligible for the Garrard’s Redcliffe Yearling Sale Series with a minimum $100,000 prizemoney for two-year-olds in 2020 and the rich 3YO Sale Classic in 2021. They are also eligible for QBred, Vicbred, Breeders Crown, Bathurst Gold Crown and NSW Breeders Challenge.
