FOLLOWING consultation with the Temora Harness Racing Club as well as local trainers and drivers, Harness Racing New South Wales Stewards commenced a review into the home straight starting positions at Temora.
Following the review, which included successful testing, HRNSW has amended the home straight starting position to the following distances:
1609 to 1635 metres (increase of 26 metres)
2360 to 2386 metres (increase of 26 metres)
These changes will be effective immediately.
Harness Racing NSW (HRNSW) is the controlling body for harness racing in New South Wales with responsibility for commercial and regulatory management of the industry including 33 racing clubs across the State. HRNSW is headed by an industry-appointed Board of Directors and is independent of Government.
