Racing returns to Albion Park tomorrow night and it promises to be an action packed meeting with the concluding heats of the Garrards Australasian Young Drivers Championship (AYDC).

Ten of Australasia’s best junior drivers will go head to head in the final three heats of the thrilling nine heat series in the hope to win a brand new Rio Mark 2 sulky thanks to major sponsors Garrard’s. The competing drivers are Narissa McMullen (QLD, defending Champion), Nathan Dawson (QLD), Chris Geary (NSW), Darby McGuigan (VIC), Jayden Brewin (SA), Deni Roberts (WA), Jack Laugher (TAS), Sheree Tomlinson (NZ South Island), Ben Butcher (NZ North Islander) and Alicia Harrison (NZ).

This year the series has paired up with Youngcare to raise much needed funds and awareness for the national charity that provides housing and accommodation for young people with high care needs. There will be donation tins available on course and we encourage everyone attending to help out this worthy cause.

Punters will be pleased wagering service provider UBET has a number of attractive exotic betting propositions for this Saturday night’s meeting, spearheaded by a $25,000 First 4 Jackpot Pool on race 1 scheduled for 5:42pm EST.
