TRAINER Tim Butt has today advised Harness Racing New South Wales Stewards that routine blood samples were collected from MY FIELD MARSHAL NZ yesterday and has revealed abnormalities in the sample being an elevated white cell count.
Mr Butt advised that MY FIELD MARSHAL NZ is now undergoing treatment and further samples will be collected for analysis this Friday.
HRNSW regulatory Veterinarian Dr Wainscott will conduct a review of the subsequent blood samples once received.
Harness Racing NSW (HRNSW) is the controlling body for harness racing in New South Wales with responsibility for commercial and regulatory management of the industry including 33 racing clubs across the State. HRNSW is headed by a Board of Directors and is independent of Government.
