People heading to Maryborough trots tomorrow are alerted to major road closures in the area.

Chaplins Rd (main gate and float gate for Maryborough course) is closed at Pyrenees Highway one end and Eddington (Bendigo) – Carisbrook Rd at the other.

Tullaroop Rd is closed is closed just beyond Crameri’s Chaff Mill in Maryborough.

The only entry into the track is via the Pyrenees Highway into Carisbrook and then turn left at the bridge at Deep Creek. That road is called Bucknall St, which morphs into Chaplins Rd at the Eddington (Bendigo)-Carisbrook Rd intersection to the north of the track.

For people coming from the south/south-west along the Pyrenees Highway into Maryborough, the truck route is closed at Crameri’s Chaff Mill and it is strongly advised that people stay on the Pyrenees Highway through the main street of Maryborough and turn right at the traffic lights, then stay on this road (Pyrenees Highway) which will take you to the track.

Patrons coming from the north will be confronted with a road closed sign at the intersection of Bucknall/Chaplins and Eddington Rd. Patrons are asked to ignore the road closed sign and proceed carefully around it at a reduced speed to enter the track.

The road closed sign must remain in place to prevent passing traffic entering that road.
