IF YOU’RE looking for a reason to attend next week’s Ladbrokes Australian Pacing Gold Sydney sale, how about 23 reasons?

That’s how many Ladbrokes APG purchases will contest Group Ones or Group One heats at Menangle tonight.

Nine ‘boys’ are engaged in qualifiers of the New South Wales Derby, which is schedule to be conducted as part of next week’s Miracle Mile program.

There are also nine fillies in the Oaks heats, with the Blue Riband also part of Miracle Mile night.

Elsewhere on tonight’s card, three APG graduates are engaged in Group Ones, with two in the Group Three Robin Dundee Stake.

APG Derby contenders: Captain Cosmonaut, Crime Time, Drop The Hammer, Higherthananeagle, Lifeonthebeach, Major Times, Maraetai, Shadow Eclipse and War Dan.

APG Oaks contenders: Arts Treasure, Besocial, Callmequeenbee, Major Occasion, Never Been Said, Nostra Villa, Redbank Addi, Shez All Rock and War Dan Bad Girl.

APG Robin Dundee Stake starters: Carlas Pixel and Eye See Diamonds.

APG Group One starters: Atomic Red, Heaven Rocks and Mach Doro.
