After heats in Bathurst and Newcastle, the 2021 TAB Inter Dominion is set to return to Club Menangle for the grand finals on Saturday, December 11. This will truly be the harness racing event of the year and will attract a great crowd.

Harness Racing has been a beloved sport in Australia since 1890 and the Inter Dominion which was established in 1936 has captured the attention of the racing industry and fans from around the world.

This year’s grand circuit event will showcase the elite of the Harness Racing industry and Australasian Standardbreds competing across four nights of exhilarating racing.

The first round of heats saw King Of Swing NZ, Expensive Ego, and Malcolms Rhythm claim maximum points in the Pacers series. While in the Trotters, Majestic Man NZ and Timothy Red were victorious in their heats.

Attention now turns to round two of the TAB Inter Dominion Championships with the carnival rolling into Bathurst before round three heads to Newcastle.

The carnival will then conclude on December 11 at Club Menangle Trackside, with a $150,000 final for the trotters and a $500,000 final for the pacers.

At the track, Club Menangle will be hosting a grand final event not to be missed.

Families are invited to enjoy a night out at the trots with Christmas festivities, kids rides, treats for the kids, food trucks, Christmas merchandise, the NSW Mini Trots, and plenty of photo opportunities. Not to mention Santa and his elf making an appearance.

As the races concludes, the after-party begins in The Manor at Menangle Country Club. Rock band Sons of Mercury will perform, the entertainment starts at 10.30 pm and will party on until late.
