Top reinswoman Amanda Turnbull is quickly climbing the premiership ranks in New South Wales.

The Bathurst horsewoman is currently the top female driver in the state and is sitting third amongst the overall State Drivers’ Premiership as well as the State Trainers’ Premiership.

Turnbull has been amongst the top 10 drivers in NSW for the past 14 years. In that time, Turnbull was won three state drivers premierships and notched up 2168 winners since her debut 2005/06 season.

She has been landing multiple winners at Bathurst of late and has three drives at her local track tonight with Sweet Chariot (race one), Sweet Heaven (race four) and Wattlebank Lass (race five).

Turnbull trains all of those pacers and in race five, the $10,200 NSW Standardbred Owners Assoc Pace, has a three-pronged attack with Old Luke and Viva Las Vegas also engaged.

Turnbull has enlisted Isobel Ross to drive last start winner Old Luke and Phoebe Betts to drive Viva Las Vegas.
