Anthony Butt, Co trainer of Hidden Value, advised subsequently from the event the colt to have recovered satisfactorily and attributed the performance to Hidden Value enduring more work than expected during the middle stages of the event and the colt would derive benefit for the performance and the stable would continue with the current preparation.

David Moran, trainer of Mummys Boy, advised subsequently from the event the gelding to be displaying a virus and would now be treated accordingly.

RACE 4 –WHEELIE WASTE PACE (1680 MS)
David Barnes, Co trainer of The Constitution, advised subsequently from the event the mare to have recovered satisfactorily and attributed the performance to The Constitution being driven further forward from the start and the mare backing up within a short period and it will now be the stables intentions to space the mares runs going forward and The Constitution to be driven more conservatively at the start.
RACE 5 –SOUTH WEST CONVEYANCING TERANG TROTTERS CUP (GROUP 3) (2680 SS)
Andy Gath, trainer of McLovin NZ, advised subsequently from the event the gelding to have recovered satisfactorily. Mr Gath attributed the performance to the gelding improving quickly from a 30m handicap during a strong first lap and McLovin NZ has not performed up to expectations when driven by persons other than its regular driver which may have contributed to the gelding’s overall performance. Mr Gath advised McLovin NZ is engaged at Tabcorp Park Melton 27th February 2021.
