Appeal Decision
- 6 November 2020 – Mr Matt Schembri appealed the decision of Stewards to disqualify his licence for a period of 9 years for various matters including administration offences. By decision of the NSW Racing Appeals Tribunal (6 November 2020) the severity appeal was upheld and the penalty was ordered to expire on 17 May 2021. (appeal decision at www.hrnsw.com.au)
- 9,10 & 11 November 2020 – Mr Raymond Turner appealed the decision of Stewards to disqualify his licence for a period of 2 years and 9 months for the presentation of PARK RUN at Junee on 19 January 2019 with a prohibited substance namely cobalt in excess of the allowable threshold. By decision of the NSW Racing Appeals Tribunal (25 November 2020) the appeal was dismissed and the penalty confirmed. (appeal decision at www.hrnsw.com.au)
- 30 November 2020 – Mr Richard Williams appealed the decision of Stewards to suspend his licence for a period of 21 days following a breach of AHRR 163(1)(a)(iii) when driving LOVELAINE in Race 2, MULTIQUIP TRANSPORT PACE (1609 metres) conducted at Tamworth on 22 October 2020. The decision in relation to this appeal has been reserved by the NSW Racing Appeals Tribunal.
