For so many great harness racing people, it’s amazing to think it’s almost 12 months since the running last year’s event “2019 APG NATIONAL MIXED SALE” that attracted so much attention and excitement for the sport.  The tremendous news is that the 2020 version promises to much bigger and more appealing due to the fact we taken a massive 195 entries this time. With the positive seasonal conditions in most harness racing heartlands in 2020, we are certainly optimistic about the year ahead.

When we spoke to a loyal and active breeder in Central Western NSW this week he told us, “this is shaping up as the best season we have ever experienced at this property and for the first time in years we can look at investing into and adding to our breeding stocks.  Modelling suggests that NSW farmers will be able to cut a large volume of good hay and the big grain producers are delighted with the possibilities and prospects of potential massive harvests come later this year.”

The positivity is welcomed into the sport at this time and it’s not just restricted to NSW breeders. We also heard today from one of Victoria’s leading trainers/breeders who put it this way, “this online catalogue has exceeded my expectation with 195 lots and I’ve already sent dozens of text messages asking questions on the ones that tick boxes for our family.”

The enquiries for the weanlings have been very strong and why wouldn’t they with weanlings by sales favourites like, Always B Miki, American Ideal Art Major and the North American star Captaintreacherous.
