Please also note that there is no fee payable to nominate for either the trotting &/or pacing series - so you know when they say "you gotta be in to win" they were really waiting for the day the IRT ID19 Series would grace the hallowed turf of the Auckland Trotting Club here at Alexandra Park and that age-old piece of wisdom would never be so close to the truth!
The following information details what Spring & Summer racing could look like for your horse commencing on the opening night of the IRT ID19 Series (November 29) and continuing through right up until G1 Auckland Cup Day on NYE afternoon (for the ATC) - before adding one or two final carrots to chase on one of the headline events on HRW's calendar on January 10 2020.
These Group & Feature races should be considered / targeted as part of a supplementary racing programme for visiting ALL ID19 / Age Group horses following the IRT ID19 Grand Final on December 14.
These include all feature races across the board (not just for the IDOM type of horse) so there is real appeal to investigate if there is any room on the plane over for 'travel mates' of these horses who with the right planning (and careful analysis of the following dates schedule) may make for a rather financially viable and attractive package (and not forgetting 6 weeks in the bright & beaming Auckland sun)!
The fact that even R rated horses will be racing for $15K - $20K during this period (remember there are seven ATC meetings in total from Nov 29 - Dec 31), there are a number of enticing opportunities for even lower graded 'stable travel buddy type' horses to accompany the IDOM / Age Group type horses & to give themselves a chance a making the trip north &/or overseas rather fruitful for connections involved!
