2018-19 HRSA MEDIA AWARDS – CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

HRSA are delighted to announce that Media Awards will once again be included at the Horse of The Year event to be held at the Mawson Lakes Hotel and Function Centre on Friday 25th October 2019 Therefore, we are calling for nominations for the following categories:

  • LITERARY – Best published print article, story or feature (limit of 3 articles per applicant)
  • PHOTOGRAPHY – Best published action or still photograph (limit of 3 photographs per applicant) 
  • TELEVISION/VIDEO/FILM – Best feature ‘to air’

The eligibility criteria for the awards is that all media material must pertain to South Australian Harness Racing and must have been published in Australian mainstream media during the 2018/19 racing season (1 September 2018 - 31 August 2019).

The following information must also accompany each nomination:

  1. Name of applicant
  2. Title of the entry
  3. Date and details of the publication of the entry
  4. Contact details including name, postal address, email and telephone number

Entries close at 5:00pm on Friday 4th October 2019. Nominations can be posted, emailed or hand delivered to Ross Neal, HRSA CEO, 1 Globe Derby Drive, Globe Derby Park SA 5110 or email rneal@saharness.org.au.

All award winners will be chosen at the discretion of the selection panel.
