New Carnival of Cups Award announced

A NEW award will be presented at the Arthur J. Gallagher Industry Awards Night at the Four Seasons, Sydney, on September 21.

This Award will be the Carnival of Cups Horse of the Series for the best performed horse during the 28 feature meetings that swept that state last season.

The nominees for the Carnival of Cups Club categories have also been finalised.

The nominations for the Best Club with a feature race to a maximum of $13,000 are:

  • Blayney

  • Newcastle

  • Parkes

The nominations for the Best Club with a feature race between $13,001 and $30,000 are:

  • Albury

  • Tamworth

  • Temora

The nominations for the Best Club with a feature race over $30,000 are:

  • Bathurst

  • Eugowra

  • Wagga

There are also the Best Community Engagement Club and the Best Fraternity Engagement Club to be announced on the night.

Harness heritage collection grand opening set for Friday
