Investigation – Mr Mario Borg

The Racing Analytical Services Laboratory (RASL) has advised Harness Racing South Australia (HRSA) that SHIFTYWALL trained by Mr Mario Borg, which competed at Victor Harbor on the 13/5/19, in Race 1 the “Grosvenor Hotel Trotters Discretionary”, has returned an Arsenic level above the allowable threshold of 0.30 micrograms per millilitre.
The “B” sample was sent to Racing Science Centre, Queensland Racing Integrity Commission who confirmed the Arsenic level was above the allowable threshold.
Mr M. Borg will be required to attend an inquiry at a time and date to be fixed.
