HRA National Conference 2018 Takes Shape

Harness Racing Australia (HRA) announced today that Alabar Australia are the latest organisation to throw their support behind the inaugural HRA National Conference on 14 December.

Alabar General Manager, Mr Brett Coffey, who will also speak at the Conference, said that the Stud welcomed the opportunity to partner the inaugural event.

“Alan Galloway (Stud Principal) and I were immediately drawn to the concept, particularly the interaction this Conference will provide all industry stakeholders on not only breeding issues, but across a diverse range of areas which affect us all.”

HRA Chairman, Mr Michael Taranto, also released further details about the Youth Forum component of the Conference.

“We are indeed fortunate to have so many talented and committed young person’s participating and investing heavily in our industry. In order to showcase these emerging leaders we have dedicated the afternoon sessions to a Youth Forum to highlight their unique and interesting stories and experiences within and outside of the industry and most importantly to collaborate on their vision for our future.

We are also fortunate to have secured the services of Mr Doug Freeman from Tabcorp, who will moderate the interactive session where those in attendance will have an opportunity to participate in the forum.”

HRA have also confirmed that registrations for the event are now open online via TryBooking.com. Priced at just $30 with $5 going toward the Women’s Cancer Foundation they represent fantastic value and include entry to the conference itself, lunch and a post conference cocktail party with finger food, beverages and the opportunity to network and discuss the day’s outcomes.

Mr Taranto went on to say, “additional details on the program  will be released in coming days however with Jody Jamieson as our keynote speaker and a number of other international guests confirmed this is guaranteed to be a world class event and we are grateful for the support of Aldebaran Park, Alabar Australia, Tabcorp and SkyRacing World in bringing it all together.”
