RWWA Stewards have been advised by the ChemCentre in Perth, that the pre-race blood sample taken from BORONIA GULLY prior to it competing in Race 3 at Pinjarra June 18, 2018, has been found to have a level of total carbon dioxide content (TCO2) in excess of 36.0 millimoles per litre in plasma.
BORONIA GULLY finished 10th in the event.
This finding has been verified by the Racing Analytical Services Laboratory (Vic).
A Stewards inquiry will be conducted in relation to this report on Thursday July 5, 2018 which trainer Ms. Stephanie Smith has been directed to attend.
