A relation to the 'grey bullet' Lombo Pocket Watch will go under the hammer at the upcoming Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale.

A FEATURE of the 2018 Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale, to be held at the Bathurst Showground on Sunday March 25, is the high percentage of race-winning or winner-producing mares with progeny in the sale.

Of the 120 lots in the catalogue, almost two-thirds are out of race-winning mares and nearly 60 per cent are from winner producers.

The impressive list is headed up by the Queen of the Pacific winner Artificial, Lourdes, who won the Bandbox Stakes and George Johnson in Tasmania, the Edgar Tatlow Memorial winner Katasopos, Warrawee Flare Ca 1:50.6 ($609,019), the QBred 2YO Final victor Tallaringa Drive and the NZ Sires Stakes 2YO Silver winner Maheer Melody.

Other good winning mares with yearlings are Dream Royale (Queensland Ladyship), the NSW Star Trek Series winner Zena Zara, Bella Jam Jam, who finished runner-up in the Bathurst Gold Tiara, Gloria Lombo ($104,074), Scotts Dollar, Kyallarama, Straight Left and Golden Bow.

The catalogue includes yearlings that are siblings to Group or Listed winners including top pacers such as the Breeders Crown champions Passions Promise and Magic Operative, the NSW Sires Stakes champions Usane Flash and Second Dollar, the APG 3YO Final winner Mister Sloy, Paddy OSullivan (MIA Breeders Plate), Dee Devito (Linden Huntley Little Memorial), Copper Coast (Queensland Paceface Adios Classic) and the Vicbred Platinum 3YO Classic winner Perfectly Written.

Other dams are sisters to Lombo Pocket Watch, Emmas Only, Dance Of Life and Soho Lennon and half-sisters to Blacks A Fake, Sunshine Beach, Slipnslide, Iam Mr Brightside, Villagem, Rosa Mach, Thumpem, Theartofillusion, Sir Guinness, Kathryn Dancer, Devilish Smile, Smooth Performer, Western Dream, Facta Non Verba, Keppel Bay and Lombo Skyrider.
