For those attending Maryborough trots, please note the following important alert from the club:

The intersection of the Pyrenees Highway and Chaplins Road adjacent to the Maryborough Track is closed for up to 14 weeks. Generally this affects our participants from the South. Ie those who come through Carisbrook township (Melbourne, Melton, Ballarat, Creswick). When you reach the Carisbrook Primary School , where you usually turn left into  the Pyrenees Highway there is now a sign which indicates Maryborough Harness Racing and that you are required to Turn right onto the Pyrenees Highway for about 1km and take a left turn before the bridge into Bucknall Street which  in turn becomes Chaplins Road our front access.

The heavy vehicle bypass road from Ararat  which joins with Tullaroop Road at the Maryborough Golf Club is not affected at the present. We are told maybe two weeks and that road will also be closed also for the duration expected to be 14 weeks. When that road is closed the only entry into the Track will be via the Pyrenees Highway out through Carisbrook via Bucknall Street and Chaplins Road.

Traffic from the North, St Arnaud, Charlton, Bendigo, Shepparton areas will not be affected.

In any case please leave ten minutes early if you feel these changed traffic conditions may affect you.
