The South Australian Racing Appeals Tribunal today heard an appeal filed by Mr Christopher Massey with respect to a decision of the Stewards to disqualify him for a period of nine months following a conviction under Rule 190 (1) of the Rules of Harness Racing. The particulars being that on Monday 18th September 2017 Mr Massey presented GENUINE EXCUSE to race at Globe Derby Park and a that subsequent swab taken from the mare returned and adverse TC02 result.

While the breach of the rules was denied Mr Massey elected not to appeal the conviction but rather the appeal was restricted to penalty only.
