The Peel region’s best day at the trots is coming soon at Pinjarra Paceway - the public holiday Monday, 5th March is the $50,000 Country Wide Insurance Brokers Pinjarra Pacing Cup.

Country Wide Insurance Brokers are lucky winners of naming rights to the 2018 Pinjarra Pacing Cup in the Club’s annual Sponsorship Raffle.

In addition to naming rights to the premier country Pacing Cup in WA, Country Wide Insurance Brokers’ prize includes hospitality for twenty guests on Cup Day, race book advertising, track signage and on-course promotional opportunities.

This is the seventh consecutive year that the Pinjarra Harness Racing Club has conducted the Naming Rights Sponsorship Raffle and with all 50 tickets sold out early, there is great community support for this unique promotion.  Second to eighth placegetters in the Raffle each receive naming rights to a supporting race on Cup Day, race book advertising and hospitality for four guests, including a delicious lunch, dessert and beverage package.

With stake money of $50,000 not only will the Cup attract some of the best pacers WA has to offer, it’s a day filled with fun and entertainment for the entire family.

There will be live music by Benj Bernal between races, a Punters Club and Lucky Losing Ticket draws, plus a bouncy castle and lions train rides for the kids.  There will also be Pony Trots and a Celebrity Pony Trot race featuring some of WA’s well known faces!

The Paceway Pavilion restaurant and canteen will be open with delicious and affordable lunch options, as well as three bars with great drinks prices – including a new pop up Garden Bar.

A free return bus service from Byford Trotting Club will run to Pinjarra – pending sufficient numbers.  Seats on the Bus must be pre-booked by phoning Sian or Kathleen on 9531 1941 or via the Club’s Facebook page.

The Club is proud to support the Team Teal fundraising campaign this year and will donate $200 for every race won by a reinswoman on Cup Day.  Admission is a gold coin donation, donated to the Team Teal and all funds raised on Cup day will be matched dollar for dollar by RWWA’s Community TAB.
