Tabcorp Park Melton will stage the inaugural TAB.com.au Summer of Glory – Del-Re National Breakfast of Champions on Wednesday January 31.

Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) is inviting all industry participants to attend the breakfast, which is also proudly supported by Schweppes, with the entertainment being a live outside broadcast of RSN’s Racing Pulse program.

Regular Racing Pulse host Michael Felgate will be joined by guest hosts Jason Bonnington and Adam Hamilton for a 90-minute show focused on the upcoming Del-Re National A.G. Hunter Cup.

A roving panel of guests will also feature, including Victorian voice of the trots Dan Mielicki and some of the key drivers and trainers involved in the Hunter Cup.

Some of the Hunter Cup equine competitors will also take to the track to show off where they’re at ahead of the $500,000 Grand Circuit Classic (to be run Saturday night February 3).

Also in attendance will be the legendary retired pacer Smoken Up and his trainer/driver Lance Justice.

A breakfast barbecue and tea/coffee will be provided.

Gates open 8am for an 8.30am start with Racing Pulse to wrap up at 10am.

The track will be open to trainers to work horses between 7am and 8.30am (please note, drivers to wear white pants and silks).

More details will be announced in coming days.
