RACE 3 - ELITE HORSE TRANSPORT TROTTERS HANDICAP
Andy Gath, trainer of Aldebaran Midnite, advised that following the event it was established that the mare had injured a tendon and subsequently has been retired from racing.
RACE 6 - JOHN BRAIN MEMORIAL PACE
Mark Pitt, trainer of Our Novak NZ, explained that subsequent to the event the gelding failed to recover sufficiently. Mr Pitt advised that bloods taken from Our Novak NZ failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities, however it is the stables intentions to ease the workload of the gelding in the coming weeks and then reassess if any further veterinary treatment is needed.

RACE 1 - DNR LOGISTICS PACE
David Vozlic, trainer of Son Of Gozo Pride, advised that following the event he had dentistry work conducted on the gelding. This revealed the gelding to have a cut on the gum close to the wolf teeth, which in the stables opinion may have affected the performance of the gelding. Mr Vozlic explained that Son Of Gozo Pride would be treated accordingly prior to resuming racing.
