RACE 8 - KEN & DAPHNE POCOCK MEMORIAL PACE (1ST HEAT)
Barry Dunn, trainer of Regardless, advised that the horse is being treated with antibiotics in relation to its left fore knee swelling up the day after the race. Mr Dunn said that he is going to give the horse at least a month off before reassessing its racing future. If vets give Regardless the all clear to resume racing after it has a decent break, he’ll look to trial the horse prior to resuming racing.

RACE 8 - JIM PHILLIPS MEMORIAL COBRAM PACING CUP (GROUP 3)
Michael Stanley, trainer of Milly Perez, advised that the he intended on gaining further veterinary advice which could be of assistance to explain the performance of the mare. Mr Stanley added that if anything that would be beneficial to explain the performance he would advise stewards.
Kilmore – 9 January 2018
RACE 1 - JET ROOFING PACE (1ST HEAT)
Mark Pitt, trainer of Restrained, advised that a follow up veterinary examination of the horse revealed a fracture to the off side hind leg and connections will consider the future racing prospects of the mare.
RACE 6 - MCIVOR ESTATE PACE (1ST HEAT)
Ian Dornauf, trainer of Royal Knockout, explained that the gelding had recovered well subsequent to the race and added that he could only contribute the performance to Royal Knockout failing to handle the Kilmore track. Mr Dornauf added that Royal Knockout had failed to race competitively at Kilmore of previous times.
