RACE 2 – J.P. ROBERTSON & SONS 3YO PACE
Luke Watson, trainer of Motu Rampage NZ, explained that the gelding had recovered well in the subsequent week and added that he intended on trialling the gelding, Sunday 31/12/17. Mr Watson added that he is of the opinion that Motu Rampage NZ may have benefited from its first Australian race start and expected an improved performance at its next start.

RACE 6 - DEVCON PROPERTIES PACE
Ted Caruana, trainer of Admiral NZ, advised that Admiral NZ had recovered from injury’s sustained in the float carpark following its engagement. Mr Caruana explained that abrasions are being treated and it was anticipated that Admiral NZ would be spelled for a further 3 weeks before returning into light work.

RACE 8 - NYE @ MELTON PACE
Geoff Webster, trainer of Keep On Rocking, explained that the gelding had recovered well and he planned on continuing with the preparation of Keep On Rocking.
