Racing Information Services Enterprise (RISE) is a software development company that provides services to the Harness Racing Controlling bodies in Australia and the harness racing industry. We are passionate about racing and IT, our mission is to develop technological solutions for the benefit and strategic advantage of the harness racing industry.
The Opportunities
We are searching for two Software Developers with speciliast skillsets to come on board and work on some exiting projects to support and help launch new releases of our software. Positions are for a duration of 12 months and are solely project based, there is the possibility that the assignments will be extended dependant on business requirments.
Role 1 - Working with the following technology and languages; Java 6-8, MVC Frameworks using JSP - Spring MVC & Struts, Tomcat/JBoss, Mybatis/IBatis/JDBC, PL/SQL, Oracle, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, OOD, Test Driver Development, RESTful API – JSON/XML/OAuth, SDLC, CI/CD – Jenkins/Maven/Gradle.
Role 2 - Working with the following technology & languages; OpenText Gupta Team Developer/AKA Centura/Unify Team Developer, PL/SQL/Oracle, .Net C# desktop application development, OOD, Test Driver Development.
About You
To be considered for these roles you will have relevant commercial software development experience as listed above, excellent communication skills and be willing to skill up in new technologies and languages.
