Media Release

The Committee of SAHRC wishes to announce that, except for the proposed change to existing voting rights of HRSA Member Clubs, it is generally in agreement with the recommendations contained in the recent Independent Review of SA Harness Racing.

Several productive meetings between representatives of both HRSA and SAHRC have occurred since the release of the report. The SAHRC is committed to continue to work closely with HRSA to negotiate and agree the details concerning the implementation of the recommendations contained in the Report and the constitutional changes necessary to achieve an optimal governance arrangement which is in the best interests of both the sport of harness racing in South Australia and the SAHRC.

SAHRC President
