The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a strong ten race program this Saturday night.

And the opening race has attracted an even field of 12 pacers with several in-form runners set to contest the UBET Pace over the 2138m.

The ideally drawn Simply Gorgeous will command plenty of respect after landing the coveted inside draw, the Art Major mare is a four times Albion Park winner.

Several others that loom as legitimate threats include Major Score, Major Deed, My Elusive Dream, Withalotofluck, Sparkling Cullect, Jilliby Ling, Tightrope, The Smiler and Western Blaze.

Another highlight is the culmination of the 2017 BOTRA Queensland Young Drivers Championship; heats have been staged at Redcliffe (Wednesday) and Albion Park (Friday).

The final two heats of the series will be staged as races 6 and 8.

The $15,540 Kevin & Kay Seymour Rising Stars Championship also looks an extremely open affair following the barrier draw.

Heat winners on Tuesday were Fire One and The Charging Moa but classy filly Im Norma Jean could prove hard to beat despite landing gate 7, the outside of the front-line.

The Rising Stars Finals is listed as race 5 on the card.

Triple Queensland Horse of the Year Avonnova lines up again following his remarkable first-up victory three weeks ago when beating subsequent Flashing Red winner Hughie Green.

Avonnova has drawn gate two in the Seymour Group Open Pace over the 1660m.

Gambling giant UBET are offering several jackpots throughout the program including a guaranteed $50,000 First 4 pool on the opening race plus a $10,000 jackpot.

A Quadrella jackpot of $5000 is also slated; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.

UBET have also slated $2000 jackpot trifecta pools on races 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7.
