Catalogues available for Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale

CATALOGUES for the 2017 Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale, to be conducted by Graeme Board and Company at the Bathurst Showground on Sunday, March 19, are now available.

A key component of the annual Bathurst Gold Crown, the sale features 133 superbly bred yearlings from leading breeders in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.

The sale has attracted youngsters by many of Australia’s leading sires including Art Major, Four Starzzz Shark, Courage Under Fire, Rock N Roll Heaven, Grinfromeartoear, Sportswriter, Live Or Die, Changeover, Modern Art, Western Terror, McArdle, Holmes Hanover and Blissfull Hall.

There’s also stock being offered by the promising sires Roll With Joe, Betterthancheddar, Auckland Reactor, Smiling Shard and Major Bronski.

The first Australian crop of the former top American horses A Rocknroll Dance, Pet Rock and Shoobees Place and the colonial bred stallions Caribbean Blaster and Alta Christiano will add interest to the sale.

All yearlings nominated for the sale may be eligible for the Sales Graduate races with $19,000 finals for two-year-old colts and fillies to be run at Bathurst in March 2018.

They are also eligible for the NSW Breeders Challenge, Breeders Crown, Bathurst Gold Crown, Vicbred, Vicbred Platinum, NSW Breeders Blue Series and the SA Southern Cross.
