Twenty-six yearlings by some of the world’s leading sires, will go under the hammer on Sunday 12th February 2017 from 4.30pm. The annual yearling parade will commence at 3pm.

Sires represented include Mach Three, Betterthancheddar, Roll With Joe, A Rocknroll Dance, Falcon Steelster, Little Brown Jug winner, Million Dollar Cam, Allspeed Hanover, Art Offical  and, up and coming colonial sires, Alta Christiano, Auckland Reactor, Changeover and Smiling Shard, and local sire, Cullens Legacy.

The sale has grown every year since its reintroduction in 2015 with just 12 pacing yearlings that year. Then in 2016 there were 16 yearlings, and now there will be 26 in 2017.

With four winners from the 2015 sale including Arm A Princess (4 wins including the Ladyship Stakes & a heat of the Southern Cross), Takemepitchamister (purchased for just $3500) won his first 3 starts and was placed at his next start,  Wroxton Steel (unbeaten at 2) and Ramsey’s Hope (a city winner and runner up in the Lordship Stakes to Southern Cross winner, Stars Of Courage).

There's no better way to get involved in Harness Racing than to be part of a group and buy together what could be the next season's Golden Nursery or Southern Cross winner.

All yearlings are eligible for the SA Sales Classic to be run in June 2018.

Copies of the catalogue are available from the Harness Racing South Australia office, Globe Derby Park and at all SA country clubs.
