New Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) CEO David Martin has already been racking up the miles visiting country tracks across the state.

Although Mr Martin’s first day as CEO was officially Monday, he attended Horsham’s pacing cup meeting on Sunday and was at Kilmore on Tuesday night.

“I’m keen to meet and hear the views of as many trots industry participants, club officials and other stakeholders as I can. I can already feel the pride and passion people have for our industry, so I’m really looking forward to both the Shepparton and Hamilton Cups this weekend,” Mr Martin said.

The Neatline Homes Shepparton Gold Cup will be held on Saturday night, while Hamilton will host the Matthews Petroleum Hamilton Pacing Cup on Sunday.
