Claudys Princess takes sparkling form to Sydney with two Group 1 seconds straight.
Victoria’s newest darling of the trots track, Claudys Princess, will look to add another Group 1 to her trophy cabinet on Sunday at Menangle in the SEW Eurodrive Trotters Cup.
The Mick Blackmore-trained mare has finished runner-up to Monbet and Glenferrie Typhoon at her last two starts, both at Group 1 level.
“All her runs this time in have been very good. She couldn’t go any quicker last start but she is really going well at the moment,” Blackmore said.

“I don’t know if she can run the two mile but we will be there giving it a crack anyway. If she can travel up well and gets to the track in good order I don’t think they will beat her. They are nice horses don’t worry about that, but she is right there with them.”
Claudys Princess has drawn the 20m strand in Sunday’s standing start race.
Blackmore says On Thunder Road, a fellow backmarker, and polemarker Our Summer Vacation are the main dangers.
