My High Expectations draws well in Sunday?s Glenferrie Farm Challenge at Tabcorp Park Menangle.

Classy Victorian trotter My High Expectations has drawn ideally in Sunday’s Glenferrie Farm Challenge at Tabcorp Park Menangle.

The David Aiken-trained rig will begin from barrier six and going on recent form, will most likely start favourite in the $200,000 Group One.

He has remained unbeaten in his past six starts which includes victories in the Australasian Trotting Championship, The George Gath and the Maori Mile.

Locally-trained trotter Keystone Del hasn’t fared as well with the draw.

The defending champion is the widest runner drawn in the 10-horse field.

And this is partly Mick Guerin’s fault.

The Kiwi multi-media harness racing personality won the toss for Team New Zealand at the Inter Dominion barrier draw this morning at The Star casino in Sydney.

He picked “odds” for the horses trained on his side of the Tasman, naturally leaving the five Australian runners with even-number draws.

The Glenferrie Farm Challenge Draw is:

  1. Master Lavros
  2. Elegant Image
  3. Vulcan
  4. I See Icy Earl
  5. Stent
  6. My High Expectations
  7. Flying Isa (NZ em)
  8. Cold Sister
  9. The Fiery Ginga
  10. Cyclone Jake (AUS em)
  11. Irish Whisper
  12. Keystone Del.
