Let Me Thru made it back-to-back Group 1 wins for Chris Lang last weekend

Promising trotting filly Good Thanks has the job of continuing Chris Lang's Group 1-winning run in tonight's $20,000 New South Wales Trotters Oaks at Harold Park.

The Nagambie trainer-driver has had a dream fortnight, winning the $250,000 Rowe Cup with Sundons Gift on May 7 before backing up with Let Me Thru's Vicbred Super Series 4YO Trotters Final win last Friday night.
Lang might be well-established as Australasia's premier trainer of trotters but he doesn't take anything for granted when it comes to Group 1s.
"It's not as easy as a lot of people want to try and tell me it is (appearing for the stable)," Lang said. "Whether you're favourite or 20-1, they are still hard races to win and you can't underestimate the opposition.
"I'm just lucky the way things have gone the past couple of weeks and I'm happy for it to continue for a lot longer yet."
Like Sundons Gift and Let Me Thru, Good Thanks will go around favourite in the 2160-metre mobile due to a combination of impressive form and a dream barrier (one).
The daughter of S J's Photo enters the race on the back of a Vicbred Super Series final fourth placing, which followed a convincing victory over the Oaks second favourite, Jingling Silver, at Kilmore.
"There are a couple of other good ones in the race going quite well and it is at Harold Park, which can be tricky, so it's not going to be easy," Lang said.
"It would be good if she could hold up because from there she would be hard to beat around Harold Park."
The Paul Davies-trained Jingling Silver is part of a strong Victorian contingent engaged in the Oaks and will start from barrier six
Other Garden Staters heading up are last year's Redwood Classic winner Elusive Charm (two), Brett Shipway-trained iron filly Earls Gold (five) and the promising Tony Xiriha-trained Spinster Clare, who has the back row to herself.
The New South Wales Trotters Oaks is race four on the card and will be run at 8pm.
