BLACKS A FAKE
2010 Australian Harness Horse of the Year

The greatest pacer of the modern era, and most likely of all time, Queensland’s Blacks A Fake, has again been named the Australian Harness Horse of the Year.

Blacks A Fake, trained and driven by Natalie Rasmussen, was a clear winner of the Horse of the Year title in the Australian Harness Racing Awards for the 2009/2010 Season, voted by 60 media representatives and adding to previous victories in 2007 and 2008.

It was another memorable season for the all conquering gelding with 12 wins from 15 starts, underlined with a breathtaking fourth Inter Dominion title. His career performances now stands at 61 victories with 15 minor placings from 83 lifetime starts and stake earnings of $4,179,733

Congratulations to Natalie Rasmussen and the owners – Cheryl Rasmussen, Helen Pointer and Trevor Titcomb - of Blacks A Fake, which is now being set for another tilt at the Barastoc Grand Circuit.
